If you are new to Slope, welcome to the blog! This is one of the coolest places to go on the Internet if you are a trader.

I started this little project way back in March of 2005, and it's grown into one of the most widely-read trading blogs on the web. You'll feel especially at home if you've got some bearish blood running through your veins, although that certainly isn't required.

I urge you to take a few minutes to acquaint yourself with the blog by reading about:

• Community and Comments - the discussion is the most important part of the blog. You don't have to participate, although I hope eventually you do.
• Disclaimer - which basically says you are responsible for your own investment decisions, irrespective of anything you may read here!
• Slocabulary - which will help explain a bit of the lingo you'll read in the comments section. The Slope Wiki will help educate you about the culture as well.
